Public talks: My personal icon is a figure I call "Standing Woman." It is derived from the shape of a shirt collar and represents some of the features of a collar, such as protection, enclosure, and style. I've worked in all scales from 15'x3'x6' tall, down to jewelry scale and in many media. Typically I speak for 30-60 min. accompanied by slides but I can adjust readily to any time length. I will also accommodate any length question/answer period. My work is mainly sculpture but dovetails into the teaching I now do. I do have to say that I am a major metalhead so all of my work is metal or has metal components . Talks are free and open to the public.
