Metal Clay Classes Coast-to-Coast

In February this year PMC123.com put out a call to find out where and when metal clay classes are taught. Of course you can check out our class schedule and visit www.pmcconnection.com or www.pmcguild.com for listings. But there are so many more opportunities for education available that we decided to create a special links page that includes class schedules from across the country and (hopefully) around the world. If you teach metal clay classes we invite you to add a link to our website (www.pmc123.com) to your website and we’ll include a link to your website on ours. We plan to feature 1-3 exciting sites each month in “Introducing…” starting in the near future. In the meantime, check out all of the sites that have responded to our offer HERE. Who knows, there may be classes right in your own backyard!!

Restructured Certification classes!!

Big news for 2007 is that PMC Connection Certification classes have been restructured and the prices have gone WAY down! Now you can take advantage of all of the benefits of being a Certified Artisan by completing a 2-Day Level 1 Certification class and the new cost is only $295.00 ! The projects still cover the use of all types of PMC clay, paste, syringe and sheet. In the NEW 2-day class you’ll complete 5 fabulous projects. These include a slide pendant with dichroic glass and gemstone, delicate syringe earrings, dry constructed hollow pendant with a split bail, a hollow vessel with sheet embellishment and coiled handles and a wonderful band ring. Check out the class schedule for the dates and more details.

Also new is the 2-Day Level 2 Certification Class for only $325.00 . You’ll build on the skills learned in Level 1 Certification and add more complex, exciting techniques to your arsenal of possibilities for jewelry and classes. Level 2 Certification projects include a gold and enamel pendant, a ring with bezel set natural stone, a three textured pendant and a custom clasp with fine silver wire. You will leave with a whole new outlook about your jewelry.

Brand new for metal clay enthusiasts is a 2-Day Level 3 Certification class priced at $325.00 . This class will really take your work to the next level. You’ll complete a hinged box with carving and oh-so-fabulous Keum Boo. Then you’ll learn to set large and/or “oddly” shaped stones using an advanced stone setting technique.
