Silver Market Price Causes Increase in PMC Prices

Mitsubishi Materials Corporation (MMC), the producer of PMC clay products, announced an average 6% price increase in February of this year. We did not increase our prices.

MMC announced another price increase the first of May that ranged from 6%-21% over their entire range of metal clay products. They also announced there will be another price increase the first of June.

The increases by MMC have been necessary because of the rising price of silver. All precious metals have risen in price. Silver was in the high $7 range in November 2005 and has recently reached almost $15.

These increases affect ALL suppliers of PMC clay products. We at PMC123 have no control or input. We have held off raising our prices for as long as we could and now must pass on the increases. Some items will go up more than others, but all increases are based solely on increases from MMC to all their suppliers.

PMC123 will continue to provide the same fair pricing, wide selection and great customer service as we have in the past. Please know that as the silver market changes our prices will be adjusted fairly and accordingly.
