This is a great task light and can be used with or without the magnifying lens.  It has a 12" flexible neck that will rotate in any direction, florescent bulb, heavy base for stability and an on/off switch.  
The 5X magnifying lens id 3 1/2 inches in diameter.  The power supply is 100V -240V, 50/60Hz and can be used in 180 countries!
